1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how ZOVEPAY LLC (“Zovepay”, “we”) processes personal data when you use our checkout, SDKs, dashboard or website. Our registered address is 312 W 2nd St, Unit 3928, Casper, WY 82601, USA.

2. Data we collect

We collect only what we need to run payments for you:

  • Account data — your name, business name, work email, role and login credentials.
  • Transaction data — amounts, currencies, timestamps, order and payment-method identifiers, and the payment outcome.
  • Device data — browser and device type, app version, network status and approximate location, used for fraud prevention.
  • Usage data — pages viewed and actions taken in the dashboard.

3. Why we process it

We process personal data to provide and secure the service (performance of our contract with you), to meet legal obligations such as anti-money-laundering and payment regulation, on the basis of our legitimate interest in preventing fraud, and with your consent where it applies.

4. Card data

Card numbers are encrypted in the checkout the instant they are entered and tokenised before they leave the shopper's browser. Card details never touch your servers, and we never store full card numbers in readable form. The handling of card data follows the PCI DSS standard.

5. Sharing

We share data with the card networks and acquiring banks needed to settle your payments, with the sub-processors that run our infrastructure, and with authorities where the law requires it. We never sell personal data.

6. International transfers

Personal data of customers in the EU and EEA is stored within the EU and EEA. Where any transfer outside this area is necessary, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with appropriate safeguards.

7. Retention

Account and transaction records are kept for the length of our contract plus the period required by accounting and payment law, typically up to ten years. Device and usage logs are kept for a shorter period and then deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port and object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these, write to hello@zovepay.com.

9. Security

We encrypt personal data in transit and at rest, restrict access to those who need it, log sensitive actions, and review our security regularly. No system is perfect, but protecting your data and your customers' data is central to how we build.
